Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic was repeatedly linked to Chelsea during the summer transfer window. Arsenal had been previously linked repeatedly, with Arsene Wenger said to have been interested in the player even before he moved to Inter Milan.
Calciomercato say Chelsea and Tottenham are interested in the 23-year-old, but may face competition from Juventus. The London clubs are said to ‘really like’ the player.
Inter, however, are not keen on selling the midfielder to Juventus, and would prefer to sell him to a club abroad, which would give the English clubs preferred bidder status.
Brozovic has managed just 20 minutes of league football this season under Frank De Boer. The player recently shared his disappointment on Instagram, and was asked by De Boer to show more commitment towards the club.
There seems to be a stand-off between the player and his manager, and it remains to be seen if Chelsea or Tottenham would want to take advantage of the situation.
Whilst the Italian rumours may be speculation presented as something else, if Brozovic is available for €20m then it could be a bargain.
Brozovic is a two footed 23 year old midfielder. He’s flexible in a midfield, rather than being restricted to an attacking or defending role. The Inter player is experienced despite his young age, and has over 20 caps for Croatia, impressing at times during Euro 2016.
