Tottenham’s chances of signing Bochum youngster Armel Bella-Kotchap may have been given a boost, with the player looking for an agency in England ahead of the summer.

That’s according to BILD, who say the 20-year-old is ‘looking for the super advisor’ to secure him the move he wants this year.

Last month we covered a report that stated Bella-Kotchap could be on the move this summer after establishing himself for Bochum this season.

That report made it clear he could be available for as little as €10m, making him more than affordable for the likes of Tottenham, who are known to be admirers.

If that is the case, their chances have now been given a boost with BILD reporting the player is actively trying to make a deal happen.

So far, he has been advised by his father, Cyrille Bella, a former footballer himself, but while there have been repeated talks with agencies, no agreement was ever reached.

That’s a common problem for players advised by their family, who simply don’t have contacts with other clubs to make a move happen.

That is why Bella-Kotchap wants to hire an agency for this summer transfer window to take care of his move, ‘possibly to England’, where Tottenham are likely to be among thee interested parties.

There have already been talks with the biggest agencies in the country, although his father will take over his management once a deal is done.

Bochum still only want €10m, so a deal is very affordable for his suitors, such as Tottenham, whose chances look set to be given a boost if the 20-year-old can secure the advisor he wants.
