Earlier this week, Bayern Munich identified Fulham’s João Palhinha as a new target to bolster their midfielder.

The two clubs have reached a ‘total agreement’ for the 28-year-old’s transfer, allowing the London club to collect a fee around €65m in the process.

That’s according to Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg, who states the Fulham star is ‘on his way’ to Munich, to carry out a medical and other transfer formalities.

Despite the agreement between the two clubs, Plettenberg claims the deal is not done yet because Marco Silva’s side must first sign Palhinha’s successor.

Over at Bild, they also explain that the Bundesliga winners and Fulham have reached an agreement in principle for €65m plus bonuses.

It’s further claimed the two clubs are sorting out the last details of the operation and once it’s done, the Portugal international will make a trip to Munich.

Thomas Tuchel had made it clear to his superiors that he needs a new No.6 and Bayern are close to fulfilling their manager’s request by bringing Palhinha to the Allianz Arena.
