Amid all the big names leaving Chelsea this summer, there are also some youngsters trying to find a new adventure away from Stamford Bridge.

One of those is Tudor Mendel-Idowu, who was the subject of a battle between Anderlecht and Barcelona, which the Belgians have now won.

That’s according to Sacha Tavolieri, who explains on Twitter that ‘everything is OK’ for the Chelsea youngster to head to Belgium.

The right winger will be training with the first-team at Anderlecht, but will also be available for their youth team, therefore allowing him to garner both experience and game time.

As for the player himself, he is expected to sign a four-year contract away from Chelsea, which will be a boost for him, providing him long term security away from Stamford Bridge.

The 18-year-old has four caps with England’s U17s, where he has managed to score three goals, which shows exactly the kind of talent he has, and why Anderlecht were so keen to get ahead of Barcelona to sign him.
