According to Futbol Arena, Galatasaray are keen to sign Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny in this transfer window.

Earlier in the market both Badou Ndiaye and Fernando departed the Super Lig side and even though Fulham’s Jean Michaël Seri has been brought in on loan, they still want to bring in another central midfielder.

In recent weeks the Turkish club have been linked with a number of midfielders from England, including Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko, Tottenham Hotspur’s Victor Wanyama and Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.

Futbol Arena say Galatasaray are now interested in signing the Arsenal man, with reports club director Sukru Haznedar is currently in London holding transfer talks to sign the player.

It’s reported Galatasaray are looking for a loan deal for Elneny, who may be tempted to leave Arsenal and get regular first team football elsewhere.

The former Basel player looks surplus to requirements under Unai Emery and a loan move could be a good option for both parties.

The 27 year old still has three years left on his Gunners contract.
