As the Romelu Lukaku saga goes on, the Chelsea player continues to be one of the main topics in the Italian media.
The fact that he had been negotiating with Juventus is still one of the reasons why Inter Milan are mad at him, as the Old Lady seem to struggle to find a deal as well, since they don’t currently have the money for it.
Now what if both clubs were willing to bring Chelsea’s demands down? That’s something suggested today on TuttoMercatoWeb.
The outlet featured an interview agent and intermediary Beppe Accardi. There, he spoke about several market subjects, and Lukaku was obviously one of them.
“I’d bet on Vlahovic for two reasons: he’s a very important player and he’s a young talent who can only improve. This year Juve will make a season of getting closer to what they have been for so many years, they will reform the team to build something that last over time. Taking Lukaku would mean trying to win immediately, but from my point of view it would be wrong.”
“On Lukaku I would add one thing: is it not the case that Juve and Inter have come to an agreement by making this drama to lower the price of his transfer?.”
According to the latest claims from the Italian media, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is set to travel to London in the coming days.
Despite Chelsea’s €40m request, the Bianconeri want a loan with an option to buy, with no hurry to get a deal done.
