Tromsø IL youngster Jens Hjertø-Dahl has ended up on Liverpool’s radar.
Nordlys, relayed by Tipsbladet, state the 17-year-old has received ‘strong interest’ from a few clubs and the list includes the Reds.
It’s said Liverpool and Danish side Brøndby watched Hjertø-Dahl in action in Norway U18’s 2-1 win over Denmark U18 at the weekend. In addition to these two clubs, FC Nordsjælland have also been impressed with his performances.
Liverpool could join a few Danish clubs in the battle for one of the ‘Nordics’ most exciting players’, and the clubs interested in signing him must be ready to spend big.
The midfielder’s deal runs down in December 2025 and despite attracting strong interest from other clubs, the report states he’s set to sign a new deal until 2027, when he turns 18-years-of-age on October 31st.
This would leave Tromsø in a better position to demand a ‘large sum’ – presumably relative to local fees – to part ways with their young talent, but the outlet makes no mention of the fee requested by them.
Hjertø-Dahl has made 13 appearances for the Norwegian side’s senior team this year, scoring three goals and registering two assists in the process.
