Everton star has never hidden his love for manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Every time the forward has been asked about his former coach, and every time he points out how much he loved the time working with him, going as far as claiming that he didn’t want to see him leaving Everton.

Richarlison was recently interviewed by the Brazilian version of Goal, with the reporters even pointing out that Ancelotti wanted to take him to Real Madrid.

He was then asked if he’s the best manager he’s ever worked with, and the 24-year-old had no doubts about it, telling some old stories to show how good was the relationship between the two.

“Absolutely! He’s a winning guy,” Richarlison told Goal.

“I remember that once we went to play at home, if I’m not mistaken against Leeds. He was full of tactics, put us to play with three defenders. I said: ‘Wow, professor! Is there no way to put one more striker to help me up front?’ He turned to me and said, “Wow, Richy! You must be kidding! I’ve already won five Champions Leagues and you’re going to talk to me about that?!’ (laughter).

“He is a coach that I learned a lot from, he is one of the most successful coaches today. Not only did I learn from him, but the Everton squad as well. It’s a very young squad, so we embraced it. Embraced and did a good job with him. If he stayed here, we would definitely reach a Champions League, a Europa League. His work is very good.”

Now despite making all that praise towards Ancelotti, Richarlison has some nice words for Frank Lampard too.

Quizzed about the Toffees’ current boss, the player claimed he’s been very helpful since his arrival, and points out he’s just starting his career in the Premier League.

“We try to learn as much as possible from him. As he was once a player, he understands our side, he knows that the moment is not so good, but he is always there, encouraging, talking to the players.

“So we have everything to help him. It’s his second job in the Premier League, the first was at Chelsea. He has everything to do a great job at Everton. It’s enough for the players to believe in his work, as we have been doing. We will do everything to evolve in his hands, and that he can be happy with the Everton shirt too.”
