Eibar currently find themselves 8th in La Liga, which is very respectable indeed for the Basque club. Having a good season means players will receive attention, and one Eibar player has caught the eye of Southampton and West Ham.
Garcia is 26 years of age, a right footed central or defensive midfielder, and has a contract with Eibar until June 2018.
The player’s contract situation means Eibar only have another couple of windows to get a decent fee before Garcia could agree a free move elsewhere.
Southampton and West Ham would be well aware of that situation, and Marca say Garcia would look kindly on a move to English football if he’s to leave Eibar soon.
Eibar would clearly like to keep hold of their skipper, but money will talk both for the player and his current club.
