French forward Paul-Georges Ntep is out of contract at Rennes at the end of this season. The 24-year-old has been linked to several Premier League clubs in the past, and could make a switch next summer on a free transfer.
In a brief one line article the Italian website suggest Southampton’s interest, and there is no other information.
The French forward has been recently speaking about his future to the French media (via Foot-Sur7), and insisted he has left it to his agent.
He said: “At the contractual level, I leave that to my agent and the president to see what we will do.
“I spent too much time asking myself questions about playing again and finding my level.”
Ntep has managed one assist in 5 appearances this season, and would be hoping to make a bigger impact to earn a move to the Premier League.
