All of a sudden, Liverpool are being named as the main contenders for the signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

In the past couple of days, we’ve even seen reports claiming the Reds have already reached an agreement with the striker’s staff, while the Serie A side are expected to demand €100m for the transfer.

Well, Liverpool’s chase continues to be backed up by several outlets, and it’s Radio Kiss Kiss (via TuttoMercatoWeb) who bring their version of the story.

TMW’s article claims the station now ‘confirms’ the rumours about the Reds, claiming Jurgen Klopp’s side are ‘particularly active’ in this pursuit, much more than Chelsea and Arsenal.

It’s said that even though Osimhen is in talks for a contract renewal with Napoli, Liverpool had ‘the first direct contacts’ with his agent to understand how possible the transfer is.

The story makes it clear that the transfer is a lot more likely to happen next summer, especially if he doesn’t sign a new deal, as a January move isn’t expected.

Following those claims about a deal between Liverpool and Osimhen, this version sounds a little more reasonable, with talks still in the early stages. Now with so many reports coming out about the talks, it’s starting to look like the signing is a real possibility for the Anfield side.

You’re probably thinking why on earth we’re covering someone called Radio Kiss Kiss, but despite the name they’ve been the ‘official’ radio station for Napoli news for quite some time.
