Everton are reportedly making it hard for Serie A side Milan to sign Gerard Deulofeu during the January market.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Toffees have said no both to a simple loan as well as to a deal with a buying option at the end of the season.

CapturarBut Milan are really keen on signing a talented young winger during the current window, so they won’t give up so easily.

Club official Adriano Galliani is having a few days of holiday in Brazil, but is going back to Europe with the signing as one of his priorities.

The Italian newspaper highlights the fact that Deulofeu isn’t getting many starts in England, making it sound a bit like Ronald Koeman’s side could still be convinced in case they receive the right offer.

Deulofeu would arrive in Milan to replace the Brazilian winger Luiz Adriano, who’s been just sold to a Chinese club. Even the number 7 jersey would be waiting for him there.
