Roderick Miranda certainly played a part for Wolves last season in their promotion to the Premier League, with 17 Championship appearances.
He’d arrived from Rio Ave in the summer transfer window, one of several players to come in via the Gestifute agency and with the assistance of Wolves fans’ favourite agent Jorge Mendes.
But he could be set for a quick exit.
Portuguese newspaper Record report, in their Tuesday edition, that Roderick has been pulled out of Wolves’ preseason training this week. He was taken out yesterday and then travelled to Greece to hold transfer talks.
Record say Roderick will ‘play for Olympiacos’ next season, and will join Daniel Podence there.
Olympiacos seems to be part of the new wave of Gestifute work, along with Nottingham Forest.
The Championship club have signed players including Diogo Gonçalves and João Carvalho from Portugal this summer, and were at one stage said to be close to Daniel Podence, another Mendes client, but he joined Olympiacos instead.
Nottingham Forest and the Greek club are both owned by Evangelos Marinakis.
