Sporx report Rangers are closely monitoring the performances of Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban ahead of the summer transfer window.
Last week we covered reports from the Turkish press which said Rangers are interested in the former Leeds United striker, who last summer joined Trabzonspor for €1m from the Championship side.
In Turkey, Ekuban has managed to kickstart his career and has become one of the most important players at the club. They are currently leading the Turkish Super Lig table with eight games to play.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard could be in the market for a striker this summer due to the possibility of Alfredo Morelos leaving Ibrox.
It’s also reported Lazio are interested in signing the player and Trabzonspor expect to generate around €10m from his sale, which is a figure that could be negotiable.
The Ghanaian striker has made 24 appearances this season for Trabzonspor and scored eight goals, whilst providing six assists.
