Brighton & Hove Albion’s move for Facundo Buonanotte is as good as agreed, with everyone at Rosario Central expecting him to depart.
That’s according to La Capital, who cover the situation around the youngster today and how a move away from the club is looking likely.
They explain that it is ‘thought to be impossible’ for Rosario to keep the youngster after next year as there is so much talk that his future is in the Premier League and Brighton ‘more precisely’.
According to the newspaper it is ‘hard to think’ that a transfer will fail again, after the youngster was close to a move to Brighton in the summer but the deal collapsed at the final minute.
It’s believed that the economic terms of the deal have already been agreed and it is ‘only a question of time’ before his transfer to Brighton becomes official.
For Rosario, Buonanotte is the player that has shown he is “the” player to sell for the simple reason that he has the brightest future.
Talks with Brighton are now well advanced and representatives from the club are already in Rosario, where they met the player and his family in person and visited the Canalla’s premises in Arroyo Seco.
The belief is that if their offer is better than the one they made in the summer, then Buonanotte will be on his way.
