OFK forward Saman Ghoddos has been quizzed about his future with the Swedish side, and a possible move abroad in the next window.

The Iran international has been linked with Queens Park Rangers in recent months, following the Championship side’s attempts to sign the player in the summer.

Fotboll Direkt have reported on comments Ghoddos made to Swedish TV with regards to a move in January: “I can’t answer that right now.”

Ghoddos was linked with a move to QPR in the last window after the Championship side tabled a bid for the player, which was rejected by the Swedish side.

At the time, the OFK hierarchy said if the right bid came in for the forward they would have considered selling him, but QPR didn’t come back in with an improved offer.

If QPR are to revive their interest in Ghoddos in January then it’s likely they’ll face competition to sign the him, and will need to work to convince the player to come to Loftus Road.

However, with OFK now in the next stage of the Europa League, the Allsvenskan club may be reluctant to sell the player.
