Genoa are not only getting prepared to sell Radu Dragusin to Tottenham Hotspur, but also to receive Djed Spence in the deal.

The fullback is set to be loaned to the Serie A side, with the club’s fans now interested in what he can bring them for the rest of the season.

As Buon Calcio A Tutti says Spence is set to have a medical with Genoa in the coming hours, they also managed to speak to former Tottenham coach Cristian Stellini about that move.

Stellini, who managed Tottenham as an interimn for four matches last year, also played for Genoa and was consulted about his opinion on the 23-year-old.

Stellini only had good things to talk about Spence, specifically on the youngster’s character.

“Spence is a very polite guy, very reserved. I would describe him as very quiet, with great explosiveness and great speed,” said Stellini.

“He’s a 24-year-old kid who has a lot of room for improvement, especially in the final phase of the action: both in finishing and in making assists. He definitely has to grow.

“Genoa is a good opportunity for him and to prove his talent.”

The coach was also asked about Dragusin’s move to Tottenham, and insisted that will be a good switch for him.

“Dragusin is a very strong player. He has shown that he has value and important characteristics. As it has been for so many players, making such an important leap will take some time. We are certainly talking about an important prospect.”

With both players now having medicals, it shouldn’t take long until Tottenham and Genoa confirm the deal, with both clubs happy with what they’re getting from it.
