Despite the problems Manchester City have been finding in Gabriel Jesus’ renewal process, it seems that club aren’t in any risk of losing the player.

That’s because according to ESPN Brasil, the striker may have been making demands for the new deal, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to stay at the Premier League side.

The outlet actually claims that the difference between what Manchester City are offering and what Gabriel Jesus wants is pretty small.

Pep Guardiola’s side have reportedly put a contract worth £90k a week on the table, and the player is demanding £100k a week.

Just like other outlets, ESPN reckons that an agreement hasn’t been found yet because Gabriel Jesus is focused on the important games that are to come, both for the Champions League as for the World Cup.

But it seems it won’t take much effort for City to tie the Brazilian wonderkid with a new deal.
