It’s now time for the Brazilian media to back up that Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of the candidates to sign Arthur this summer.

Outlet Globo Esporte today features a story claiming there are two clubs currently battling for his arrival. Those are Wolves and Fiorentina.

Despite having a contract with Juventus until 2025, Arthur is not in the club’s plans and won’t even travel with their squad for pre-season.

According to Globo Esporte, the midfielder wants to sort out his future soon.

The outlet claims that the ‘priority’ is for a permanent move, but a loan with an option to buy is not ruled out at this time.

There are two factors that could help Wolves to land Arthur. The first is that earlier this month, his agent told the Italian media they were working to bring him back to the Premier League.

Then Globo Esporte also highlight the fact that there are many Portuguese speakers in the Molineux squad, and that could help his adaptation there.

It’s claimed that even though Brighton showed interest earlier this year, Wolves actually show up as a ‘bigger possibility’ now.
