We’ve all been watching the curious case of Neymar, who continues to sue the club who he still has the desire to sign for.
The Brazilian is taking action against Barcelona after receiving a bonus from a contract renewal, even though he didn’t keep his promise and left the Catalan side a little later.
As player and club fight through the courts, it seems there’s a friendly way to get out of this mess, as reported by Cadena SER (via AS) this Friday.
They claim that Neymar has proposed that Barcelona promise to sign him back from PSG. That way, he would forgive the club’s debt and accept the pending payment as part of his salary at the Camp Nou.
But things are obviously not easy. Neymar has a contract with PSG, and this agreement would force Barcelona to hand over the money for the operation right now, as well as pursuing a completion of the transfer. It seems a little early in the season for that.
Unfortunately for Neymar, not everything in life can happen the way he wants.
