Arsenal took Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid last summer.

Prior to joining the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur also showed interest in the midfielder. However, reports then indicated Unai Emery played a key role in convincing his compatriot to make the switch to the Emirates.

The 23-year-old suffered an injury setback in November and before he regained full fitness, Arsenal sacked Emery and appointed Mikel Arteta as his successor.

Ceballos hasn’t featured for the Premier League side since returning from injury and Cadena Ser claims he’s informed Real Madrid he wants to terminate his loan stay with the English club.

The player is planning to join another club on loan in the winter market due to a lack of minutes at Arsenal.

Ceballos is ‘not happy’ with his situation and the main reason he wants to find a new club is because he has a ‘goal in mind’, which is make it to Euro 2020 with Spain.
