Given Youri Tielemans has just months left on his contract with Leicester City, there’s been multiple clubs linked with the midfielder.

Moving for free agents has become an increasingly popular tactic at some big European clubs, with Barcelona and Juventus looking for players approaching the end of their contracts.

That’s seen both those sides linked with the Leicester City man, whilst Arsenal have probably been the Premier League side to have been pushed forward the most.

Now there appears to be an expectation in Turin that Tielemans will join Mikel Arteta’s side next summer, so there’s no point in Juventus trying to take him to Italy.

That’s according to JuveDipendenza who say the Belgium international ‘should move to Arsenal’ at the end of the current season. Given that’s the belief at Juventus, the club are now moving on to other targets, not wanting to waste their time in a transfer battle they believe Arsenal are on the way to winning.

It’s an interesting slant, and certainly positive for those Arsenal fans who want to see Tielemans walk out on Leicester City for the Gunners.
