Despite coming off the bench against Manchester United, Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic still isn’t starting as many games as he will be wanting to at Stamford Bridge.

He has featured in 10 Premier League games this season under both Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel, scoring in the 3-0 win over Wolves (which he started), but that wasn’t enough to get him into the starting line-up in the following game against Aston Villa.

This will make him wonder what he has to do to start regularly, and that’s why there has been a certain amount of talk about a potential Chelsea exit in the near future for the American.

There was an idea that Todd Boehly might want Pulisic to be one of the flagship members of his Blues team, due to him and the winger sharing the same nationality, but if that was the case, it’s clear Potter hasn’t received the memo.

Over in Italy, Calciomercato explain to their readers that thing ‘aren’t going as hoped’ for the forward ‘after two seasons of ups and downs’, which is a ‘sign of a future that may be far from Stamford Bridge’.

That’s why ‘Pulisic and his agent are looking around’, as they seek for the right club to kickstart the USA international’s career again, with teams such as Juventus and Milan being mentioned in the rumour mill.

Calciomercato, however, make it clear that the Turin side ‘have no intention of investing again in January’, especially with Federico Chiesa on the verge of returning from injury.

As for Milan, it’s said Pulisic was part of the offer that Chelsea made to try and sign Rafael Leao, which was rejected by the Serie A side.

On top of that, Paolo Maldini and co. ‘absolutely do not consider’ the farewell of the Portuguese in January, meaning that it is currently ‘difficult for Pulisic to arrive in Italy’ and ‘Captain America will have to look for his relaunch elsewhere’.
