Kalidou Koulibaly has had enough of waiting for a transfer, report Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday.

He’s finding it difficult to stay focused at Napoli, aware that the club are keen to sell him this summer. Manchester City have had a €63m offer rejected already, and haven’t returned with a higher bid.

This has made the defender ‘lose patience’ and ask the Serie A club to lower their €70m asking price. Koulibaly wants clarification on his future, and for the club to either accept an offer or decide that he won’t be going anywhere in this window.

He’s become tired of waiting for a transfer to happen, and is aware the start of the new season is just around the corner.

Manchester City’s stance on this isn’t given, and it’s possible they’ve moved on to other targets. Spending €100m+ on Lionel Messi could mean that €60m+ for Koulibaly is out of the question this summer.

Given the Napoli player is now 29 years of age, Napoli don’t have a lot of time left to get a big fee for him, and that could encourage them to bring that €70m figure down.
