It’s now probably fair to say that Felipe Anderson’s loan spell at Porto went quite badly.

The West Ham midfielder only managed to make nine appearances for the Portuguese side, and hasn’t played a single minute since February.

It’s now clear that Porto have no intention to keep him on a permanent deal, and the situation is explained today by Brazilian outlet UOL.

The website writes that Felipe Anderson’s return to West Ham is ‘confirmed’ following the Dragons’ decision not to buy him.

Now it turns out that, at least at first, the Hammers don’t plan to give him a new chance either.

It’s said Felipe Anderson is already waiting for offers to be negotiated on a permanent basis this summer.

A sale is also a lot more likely since his contract with West Ham expires in 2022.

UOL adds that the midfielder is currently valued at around €15m, and has a return to Italy as a ‘possible destination’.

West Ham spent €38m to sign the Brazilian from Lazio back in 2018.
