In one of the most surprising deals of the end of the transfer window, Liverpool are reportedly finalising the signing of Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo.
The latest update on this chase is now brought by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, where he reports the player is now ‘completing the medical’ with the Reds.
‘Once finished’ with his exams, Arthur is set to go to Liverpool’s headquarters and sign the contract with the Anfield side.
The Italian media reported earlier today that Arthur is set to join Jurgen Klopp’s side on a one-year loan deal, and the Premier League side will not have any right to make the move permanent.
According to TNT Sports in Brazil, following all the bureaucratic details, Arthur should be ready to make his debut for Liverpool at the weekend, as the Reds take a very short trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Saturday.
