Lucas Andersen can still complete a move to Queens Park Rangers, according to Bold.dk.

On Thursday, Andersen’s agent Mikkel Beck told the outlet that his client was undergoing medical tests with QPR and was hopeful the deal would go through.

“Right now, Lucas is doing the medical check-up. It’s something that takes three to four hours, and then I’ll bet he’ll probably be there for a few more hours. After that, the intention is that we will hopefully sign the contract with QPR,” Beck said yesterday.

The transfer window in England closed on Thursday and the 29-year-old hasn’t yet sealed a move to the Championship side.

Although the winter market is no longer open, Martí Cifuentes’ side can still secure the former Denmark international’s services.

That’s because Danish side AaB Fodbold announced on Thursday that they had reached an agreement with the player to terminate his contract. The statement stated that this step was taken so that Andersen could “pursue a new dream”.

Bold.dk state the Dane can ‘move freely’ to QPR even after the winter transfer window has closed, because he’s a free agent. The London club could be Andersen’s ‘new dream’, more so because he had undergone medical tests with them yesterday.

Andersen scored two goals and registered two assists from 16 games for AaB this season.
