Semih Kılıçsoy’s development at Beşiktaş has seen Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and a few other clubs take notice.

That’s according to Fanatik, who explain that the 18-year-old’s recent performances have ‘attracted the attention’ of several clubs and the list includes Tottenham, Aston Villa, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund.

The forward has six goals and an assist to his name this season, out of which five goals and an assist came in the last six games.

This has seen Spurs, Unai Emery’s side and others take notice, and it’s said these clubs are closely following the Turkey U19 international.

On January 2nd, the Black Eagles extended the youngster’s contract until 2028. Beşiktaş head of football Samet Aybaba has backed him to shine, as long as he continues to work on further improving his game.

“We extended the contract of our young footballer until 2028. They are our present, tomorrow and future. We value our youngsters very much. I would like to thank everyone who contributed,” he said, relayed by Fanatik.

“We have very high expectations from Semih. Let him be an exemplary football player, work hard and be disciplined. Let him contribute to our Beşiktaş. Let him show everyone how right our thoughts about infrastructure are.”

Transfermarkt currently value the teenager at €550,000, but Aston Villa, Tottenham or any other club interested in signing him will have to spend much more than that.

Earlier this month, En Son Haber explained that Aston Villa director Monchi is leading his side’s transfer pursuit and that he’ll make a serious offer for Kılıçsoy in the summer.
