The German media continues to say that Nadiem Amiri should end up concluding his transfer to Leeds United this week.

Earlier on Monday, it had been Kicker who said the player had changed his mind, and after calling off the move at the weekend, he became open to it.

Now it’s time for Bild to share even stronger claims, that Amiri took off to Leeds on Monday, when Bayer Leverkusen didn’t have a training session.

It’s once again claimed that the player wasn’t expected to get many chances at the Bundesliga side this season, and ended up negotiating a ‘lucrative’ four-year contract with the Whites.

Bild says the transfer will be the best solution for ‘both sides’, as Bayer could end up making €6m with the sale of a player they wouldn’t use.

Whilst Bild seem to accept the transfer is likely to happen, they don’t state it as certain. Probably because Amiri could always change his mind at the last minute.
