Despite claims that Olivier Ntcham would be travelling today to Marseille to complete his loan with a view to buy at around €5-6m, it appears that will have to wait until tomorrow.
According to Téléfoot Chaîne’s Saber Desfarges, the player has had ‘plane issues’, and instead of travelling on Monday, he will be doing so tomorrow.
For those worrying that this might scupper the deal, that won’t be the case, with the journalist reassuring everyone the transfer ‘will be done remotely’, which we can only guess means medicals and such.
So, in what had already been a dramatic day for the former France U21 international, 2021 decided to carry on where 2020 left off and added some little spice to it right at the end.
