It didn’t take very long for Roderick Miranda to find a new club.

The defender’s departure from Wolverhampton Wanderers was announced by the Premier League side earlier today, with his contract coming to an end by ‘mutual consent’.

Only a few hours later, Gaziantep announced his signing, as he’s joining the Turkish side on a one-and-a-half-year deal, with an option for an extra year.

As pointed out by the Portuguese media, he now joins his compatriot Sá Pinto, who took charge of the club only a couple of weeks ago.

Roderick Miranda signed for Wolves in a €3m deal from Rio Ave in the summer of 2017. He only had one season of chances at the club, as he was later loaned out to Olympiacos and then Famalicão.

Despite going back to Molineux last summer, he wasn’t even used by manager Nuno Espírito Santo this season, and that’s the reason why the club chose to let him go for free and seek a new challenge.
