Since Dusan Vlahovic became one of the most commented on names in the Italian transfer market, the local media has always highlighted how strong Juventus’ desire is to sign him.

So in every story they had about clubs like Tottenham Hotspur pursuing the striker, they had to point out that the Old Lady were the main contenders for his transfer.

However, with Vlahovic standing out for Fiorentina and the race for him only growing, we now see that Juventus may not have the resources to win that battle after all.

In a story from Calcio Mercato, they write that the Old Lady now have a few names as their ‘Plan B’ in case they don’t get to sign Vlahovic next summer.

The outlet writes that ‘much richer clubs’ such as Paris Saint Germain and Tottenham could see Juve to go for other targets such as Darwin Nunez, Mauro Icardi, Alexandre Lacazette, Anthony Martial, Gianluca Scamacca or Lorenzo Lucca.

This weekend, newspaper La Nazione also named Spurs as one of the clubs ‘in front row’ to sign Vlahovic. It was claimed that the striker is a target for Antonio Conte, but will only leave Fiorentina in January for an  ‘indispensable proposal’ of €70m and above.
