Watford could be one the contenders for AC Milan’s Jens Petter Hauge this summer should the Italian side decide to sell.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say Watford are a name to ‘pay attention’ to in the race for his signature.
The website explains that depite not being seen on the pitch since April, Hauge is already a candidate to be ‘one of the protagonists’ of the summer market.
There is interest in his signature from Germany, with reports there stating that Wolfsburg have set their sights on the 21-year-old.
They would consider €15-20m, figures that would allow them to make a considerable gain on a player they’ve paid a maximum of €5m for.
Wolfsburg are not the only side interested, though, with Bayer Leverkusen and Udinese having also ‘carried out surveys’.
There is also interest from England, with the website saying to ‘pay attention to Watford’ following their promotion from the Championship.
