Manchester United will finalise their deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana tomorrow, with the Italian side waiting for it to be closed.

That’s according to Sport Mediaset, relayed by FC Inter News, who say the ‘operation closes tomorrow’ for the goalkeeper.

The newspaper explains that the last details are to be ‘ironed out’ between the two sides as they work on the variable and the fixed part of the transfer fee.

The plan is to get closer to the €60m that Inter initially requested for their number one to finalise a transfer that leaves everyone at happy.

The good news for Manchester United is that Inter are now fully focused on the operation, having closed a deal for Yann Bisseck and removed that latter distraction.

They now ‘await the closure’ of the deal for Onana but there is an increased confident that the deal can be finalised at some point tomorrow.

They’ve already targeted a deal for Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer as a replacement so are keen to get Onana out the door.

The move only needs Manchester United to pay what is required, which seems to now be in the offering, despite the last little haggle on fixed figures and variables.
