Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho played well against Argentina through the night and scored his country’s first goal in a 3-0 victory. That’s great, but it’s not going to do anything to dampen the Barcelona rumours.

Catalan newspaper Sport have Coutinho on their Friday front page and say he’s an objective for Barcelona. It’s pointed out that Coutinho has a great relationship with Neymar, and so could fit in well at Barcelona.

Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp has made it very clear Coutinho isn’t going anywhere, but Sport reckon Barcelona could get him for €75m, which sounds a little cheap if he continues his current progression.

Real Madrid are also said to be interested, sparking a Spain battle, and if Coutinho has his head turned then the build up to next summer could be worrying for Liverpool.
