Joao Teixeira is set to become a Nottingham Forest player, report Portuguese newspaper O Jogo on Friday. After English claims that Teixeira is set to move from Wolves to Forest, it’s been taken further in Portugal.

O Jogo say Teixeira went through medical examinations with Nottingham Forest on Thursday, and, unless something drastic happens to stop the move, will be joining the club on loan until the end of the season.

Vitoria Setubal had wanted to sign the 22 year old midfielder, cutting short his time with Wolves, but O Jogo believe he’s set to stay in the Championship and sign for Nottingham Forest.

Forest already have Hildeberto Pereira on loan from Benfica, which should help Teixeira settle in.
