Manchester City goalkeeper Arijanet Muric should soon be signing for a new club, according to reports today.

Tutto Mercato Web claims that Adana Demirspor, who already signed Mario Balotelli this summer, are now close to completing the transfer of the 22-year-old.

The website says ‘a new adventure abroad is ready’ for Muric, even though it’s still not clear if he’s going on a loan or a permanent move.

The goalkeeper’s contract with Manchester City runs until 2024, so it’s quite possible that he’s just leaving on another temporary spell.

Muric joined Manchester City’s academy back in 2015. He’s spent a few years at the club’s youth levels and started being loaned out to the likes of NAC Breda, Nottingham Forest, Girona and Willem.

The goalkeeper was in the spotlight of a controversy earlier this year, when he was accused of turning up ‘dazed’ for a training session at the Dutch side.

He was also thrown out of Kosovo’s national team and called a ‘scandal on two legs’ by the local media.
