Serie A club Torino are very happy with Joe Hart’s performances for the club so far, and reports claim they already want to renew his loan deal with Manchester City. The Toro are set to open talks very early, with the hope of building a deal.

However, that could be very difficult, reports Toro News. Torino signed Hart on a dry loan deal, which basically means the Serie A club didn’t pay any loan fee, whilst Manchester City are also paying 75% of his wages.

Toro News say it’d be very difficult for Torino to convince Manchester City to renew his loan on similar terms. Hart has a contract until 2019 at Manchester City, and they might want to offload him permanently in the summer given Pep Guardiola’s aversion to the England international.

The goalkeeper is likely to generate interest from other Premier League clubs, but will have a considerable say on his future, and would have to take a huge wage cut to stay at Torino beyond summer.

Any decision is unlikely in the middle of the season, and a lot could change between now and the end of the campaign. Hart may well have fallen in love with Torino, just like they’ve fallen in love with him.

Manchester City fans, meanwhile, are still trying to take to Claudio Bravo.
