As Liverpool’s chase for Fluminense midfielder André goes on, ESPN Brasil now shares interesting information on talks for the transfer.

Even though many stories in the English and the Brazilian media have been speaking of the Reds making contact for the signing, they didn’t make many comments on the price the player should cost.

ESPN Brasil now writes that Liverpool ‘signalled’ their intentions with a bid worth €25m to take the player this summer. The Anfield side have shown they could even reach €30m.

Fluminense, however, keep playing hard, and there’s a good reason for that. The South American season is now in a crucial period and they don’t want to see him going right now.

That’s why the club will only take a decision after the Copa Libertadores clash against Argentinos Juniors on Tuesday evening.

That’s the second leg of the round-of-16. The first match, in Argentina, finished 1-1, and Fluminense now only need to do the job at home to make it to the quarter-finals.

ESPN Brasil claim that in case the Brazilian side go through, they’re not selling André. If they’re knocked-out, there’s a ‘good chance’ he’s moving.

So Liverpool will certainly be watching that match.
