Gabriel Jesus

Brazil on Friday evening was full of reports about how Manchester United are about to swoop in and wreck Manchester City’s plans of completing an impressive transfer for Gabriel Jesus.

After days of claims that Manchester City had agreed a deal for Gabriel Jesus, and would be seeing him arrive either this summer, in the winter window, or next summer, there’s been yet another twist.

On Friday evening, the press in Brazil began to report that Manchester United were doing everything they can to win the race.

Estadao say Manchester United are willing to pay €35m for Gabriel Jesus, despite their buying option being lower.

Manchester United are said to be so keen to beat their rivals, they’ll pay more than their clause… which makes little sense.

Globo Esporte also report Manchester United’s efforts to hijack the deal, something they seem to feel is very real indeed and deserves big news.
