Marcos Rojo’s agent is in Argentina to seal the Manchester United defender’s move to Boca Juniors, which should be ‘sealed’ on Monday.
That’s according to TyC Sports, who provide details on the contract that Rojo will sign with his new club.
Rojo has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford this month, with his contract at Old Trafford expiring in the summer and him not a part of Manchester United’s plans.
Reports in Argentina have suggested he is edging closer to a move to Boca Juniors this month and TyC insist that is the case.
It is ‘expected’ that everything can be sorted come Monday and Rojo will sign a two year deal with Boca, with the option of a third.
His contract at Manchester United does not expire until the summer, but the two parties have agreed to an early termination at the end of this month.
Once that issue is resolved, Rojo is set to arrange a medical at his new club and become their first signing of the year.
