As the Italian media continues to report the race for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, it seems the battle between Bayern Munich and Manchester United is heating up.

This time, it’s Il Giornale (via Napoli Magazine) who claims the Bundesliga and the Premier League side are ready to make a ‘mega offer’ for the transfer.

It’s said the evaluation will start from ‘at least €100m’, but the truth is that the ‘auction will be unleashed’ once Manchester United and Bayern Munich start placing their bids.

Back on Wednesday, we had already seen newspaper Tuttosport speaking of this very same race for Osimhen.

It had been claimed that while Bayern Munich are negotiating with Napoli for the transfer, Manchester United are trying to ‘enter’ the talks and find a way to beat the Bundesliga side in this competition.

It turns out that both of these reports claim that the Serie A side are already looking for alternatives in the market to have a replacement for the 24-year-old next season.

So they seem ready to sell, whether that’s to Bayern Munich or Manchester United.
