It seems Manchester United’s interest in Juventus defender Bremer is convincing the Old Lady to move for a new centre-back.

A fresh story from Calcio Mercato says the Bianconeri are now set to battle AC Milan for Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix.

The reason for that is there’s ‘awareness’ about the ‘real risk’ of Bremer’s departure in the summer.

It’s said Manchester United are ‘pressing hard’ for his signing, and in case the Red Devils place between €60m and €70m on the table, then there’d be a ‘green light’ from Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli.

It’s not only Lacroix who’s in Juventus’ wish list, as other defenders such as Ousmane Diomande and Mario Hermoso are also being targeted by them.

That’s a clear sign that they’re getting prepared to lose Bremer, whose current season in Serie A resulted in links with a few Premier League clubs.

Manchester United continue to struggle to have a consistent defensive line-up, given their recent injuries, and with the Brazilian having 30 appearances this season, it seems he’d be up for that challenge.
