Portuguese outlet A Bola brings today an interesting story on the chase for the Angolan youngster Zito Luvumbo.

Their report says that Benfica, Porto and Sporting are all interested in the player, but they may have to wait before going after him.

That’s because Luvumbo has travelled on Sunday to England, where he’s expected to have a trial period at Manchester United.

However, A Bola gives a few reasons why a deal with Manchester United could be complicated for now. The first thing is his age, as the player is currently 17 and can only sign a professional contract with the club at 18. And as he doesn’t hold an EU passport, so it would be hard for him to get a work permit.

That’s why the Portuguese clubs would feel more confident about the chance to land the youngster. A Bola refers to Luvumbo as a starlet of great potential, saying ‘if you haven’t heard of him already, you soon will’.
