Milan Skriniar didn’t get on too well with Antonio Conte last season. Prior to that, the defender had been considered one of the very best in Serie A, but his difficult relationship with the manager has seen his status plummet.
That’s seen talk of a transfer, most notably in an exchange operation with Tottenham for Tanguy Ndombele, however, there were claims a few days ago that Spurs hadn’t taken the bait.
Such a move now seems even less likely, with FCInterNews reporting the player is ‘cold’ over a switch to Jose Mourinho’s side. Manchester United are also credited with interest, with it being stated they’ve ‘asked for information’ on the transfer.
He’s happy at Inter and with his life in Milan, so his priority would be to stay and force Conte to give him a prominent role again.
Inter would also like him to stay, although there’s a heavy suggestion a big chunk of cash, above €50m, could see them wobble. PSG are put forward as an option, and whilst it’s stated Skriniar would likely prefer them to either Manchester United or Tottenham, it’s still insisted staying where he is remains the first option.
