According to Fotospor, Manchester City are showing an interest in Bursaspor starlet Ali Akman ahead of the summer transfer window.
It’s reported the Premier League club have been closely tracking Turkish youngsters, and Akman’s performances have caught their eye.
The 17 year old striker, who came through the ranks at the Bursaspor academy, has been promoted to the first team of the Turkish 1. League side and has put in some impressive performances.
If Manchester City sign Akman, Fotospor claim that he will follow a similar pattern they used with Enes Unal, a player the English side brought in from Bursaspor for €4.4m in 2015.
After City signed Unal he was sent to a number of different clubs on loan before being sold to Villarreal for €14m.
Fenerbahce are also said to be interested in signing the player, who has made 14 appearances for second division side this season, scoring four goals. His contract with his club will expire at the end of June 2021.
