Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has accepted a move to Al-Nassr, according to claims on Sunday.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna says the player’s positive response was given to the Saudi club today.

Laporte is saying yes to a three-year contract, in which he’ll be paid a salary worth around €25m per season.

According to Aouna, Al-Nassr and Manchester City already have an agreement for the player, and now sort out the final details to make the transfer official.

Recent reports from Spain had claimed that Athletic Club Bilbao were also interested in signing Laporte, but it seems they couldn’t manage to bring him back to the club.

For now, Aouna shares no information on how much Al-Nassr will be paying for the transfer.

Laporte joined Manchester City in a record €65m transfer from Athletic Club back in January 2018.

In his years playing under Pep Guardiola, he made 180 appearances, and his resume now includes five Premier League titles, as well as last season’s Champions League trophy.

With him currently valued by Transfermarkt at €25m, we now wait to see how Manchester City are making with the sale.
