Manchester City youngster Nahuel Ferraresi is set to be loaned out once again. The defender is now joining Moreirense, according to claims on Wednesday afternoon.

It was first Venezuelan journalist Hernán Rodríguez who reported the move, saying the player will continue belonging to the City Group.

Now it’s time for Portuguese outlet Record to back it up. They say he’s signing a one-year deal with Moreirense.

With this move, Ferraresi would have an extra year in Portugal, since he already spent last season playing for Porto’s B squad.

Although he never had a chance to play for the Dragons’ first team, we’d expect something different with Moreirense, who don’t have such depth in their squad.

Ferraresi joined Manchester City in a move from Venezuelan side Deportivo Tachira back in 2017. Since then, he was loaned to City Torque from Uruguay, Peralada in Spain and Porto.

His contract with the Premier League side expires next year, and he’s probably wondering if he’ll ever have a chance under Pep Guardiola.
