Takvim reports Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal is keen to sign both Huddersfield Town’s Zanka and Sevilla’s Simon Kjaer in this transfer window.

The Turkish side are in the market for central defenders this summer and they’ve again been linked with a move for Zanka, along with his Danish international teammate.

According to Takvim, Yanal wants to form a solid central defensive partnership for next season and the Turkish club are currently doing everything they can in order to complete deals for the two Danes.

We recently covered claims from Turkey that Fenerbahce have offered Huddersfield Town €3.5m for Zanka, and Takvim say the Championship side are looking to cash in on the player before his contract expires in 12 months.

The defender is expected to leave the Terriers in this window following their relegation from the Premier League.

Zanka has also been linked with a move to fellow Turkish league club Basaksehir and Celtic are also thought to be interested in signing the 29 year old.
