Ajax manager Peter Bosz can’t give an answer to when Tim Krul will make his debut for the Dutch side. Krul is currently on loan for the season with Ajax from Newcastle United after recovering from the serious knee injury he sustained last season.

Voetbal International have reported on comments Bosz made in his press conference when quizzed about Krul.

The Ajax boss said he gets the question all the time, but revealed he can’t still give an answer on this. Bosz pointed out the player has been out of action for up to ten months, and therefore Krul needs to get back into the rhythm of things.

“Kurl is a different story. I probably get that question every week, but I really do not know how long it will take. If you have been out eight, nine, ten months you must again get back into rhythm,” said the Ajax coach on Krul.

Due to Newcastle United signing Matz Sels early in the last transfer window from Gent, Krul has gone on loan to Ajax to get more opportunities. The Holland international played just nine games for Newcastle United in the last campaign before his injury on international duty.
